This dress is named after my friend Rayhannah. The name Rayhannah (ريحانة) in Arabic comes from the word “Rayhan” (ريحان), which refers to a type of fragrant herb, often identified as sweet basil. In Islamic tradition, the word “Rayhan” is also mentioned in the Quran, symbolizing beauty, fragrance, and blessings. The name Rayhannah can be interpreted as “a fragrant flower” or “sweet basil,” symbolizing gentleness, purity, and elegance.
